405-293-4060 We run a professional wildlife removal business operating in Edmond, Oklahoma. We service the whole Oklahoma City metropolitan area, and do much of our work in Edmond. We are a full-service
Edmond animal trapping and removal company. We specialize in wildlife only, and are not like a regular Edmond pest control company or Edmond exterminator. We use humane methods to
solve wild animal problems in Oklahoma. We solve the root of the problem, by performing home repairs to keep animals out, and preventative measures in addition to critter trapping
and removal. We offer a variety of services, from animal damage repair to waste cleanup, dead animal removal and odor control, and more. We handle several nuisance wildlife
species, including squirrels, raccoons, snakes, skunks, and opossums. We also perform bat removal and bird control services, and rodent control, including poison-free mouse and
rat removal. Give us a call any time at 405-293-4060 to discuss your Edmond animal control issue, and to schedule a fast appointment.
Edmond wildlife control tip of the month:
What should I do with a squirrel after I catch it?
If it is legal in your state, you can trap the squirrels and then take them back to the wild or better yet drive 5-10
miles away from your home and then free them there so they cannot come back anymore. You must first keep things in mind
before you start releasing them. At first, you must take the squirrels to more than 5-10 miles from the Edmond animal control capture site or
else they will come back once again. This is a stressful time for them and the animal will be dehydrated. You can give them
water using a hose if it has been trapped for some time. You must not give them food; it is not interested to eat. They may
get wet food such as oranges, they may like it though. Be very cautious when you handle the cage, do not stick your fingers in
the bars of the cage, they may bite you or scratch you. However, it will not attack you, since its principal Edmond pest control concern is to free
itself right away. But of course, you must not compromise your own safety by cornering the animal if the time come that it has the
access to bite you, which it will never do without being threatened or provoked to defend itself.
But, where is the best place to take them? First things first, the laws might allow the release on the public lands in terms of what is
the best place for the animals to live freely with enough amount of food and water supply. But this is still debatable to this day. Many
people think that the squirrel must be taken back to the woods where their original habitat is located, but many also bid an undeveloped
area with enough water and food supply. Some say that the animals that were caught from the suburbs are used to the environment and will
fare better in such places, but they may bring the same Edmond wildlife removal problems that they can bring in your place. The Edmond animal trapping relocation may be hard on the animals
regardless of where you will take them. They are now used to living in the suburbs with humans around and they feed on human wastes as well.
If you are unaware of where to take them, especially the babies, it will be best to call the Edmond exterminator animal control bureau for help. They know what is
best for these creatures and they can help of help to you.
